Accessible Seating for Guests with Disabilities
Over 500 wheelchair, semi-ambulatory, and companion tickets are available throughout the ballpark.

The Americans with Disabilities Act and several California State Laws were enacted to promote equal access for everyone. Angels Baseball LP strives to provide accessible seating to our patrons needing specific accommodations and to ensure that wheelchair-accessible locations are reserved for guests who require such an accommodation.

Angels Baseball will provide full wheelchair-accessible seating in spaces or locations designated as such and no permanent fixed chair will be provided for these locations.

Accessible seating is available to those with mobility disabilities who require accessible seating because of their disability, at all price levels. This includes individuals who use wheelchairs, those who use other mobility devices, and people who cannot climb steps or walk long distances because of significant arthritis or severe respiratory, circulatory, or cardiac conditions. Individuals who, because of their disability, cannot sit in a straight-back chair or those whose service dogs cannot fit under a non-accessible seat or lie safely in the aisle are also permitted to purchase accessible seats.

Individuals purchasing a ticket for an accessible seat may purchase up to three (3) additional seats for their companions in the same row that are contiguous with the accessible seat. If contiguous seats have already been sold and are not available, the Angels will offer other seats as close to the accessible seat as possible.

Gifting or reselling of seats to an individual who does not require a wheelchair accommodation will require that the user visit the Angels Ticket Office prior to the game and exchange their ticket. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to communicate this policy to the ticket user. Angels Baseball LP may exchange wheelchair-accessible game tickets for more appropriate seat locations, subject to availability.

Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Information on pricing for single games can be obtained by visiting www.angels.com.

To order tickets by phone, please call (714) 663-9000. If using a TTY, please call (714) 653-8000.

    Segway Usage:
ANGELS BASEBALL PILOT SEGWAY® PERSONAL TRANSPORTER POLICY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A MOBILITY IMPAIRMENT

Angels Baseball LP ("Angels") strives to make every guest's visit to Angel Stadium of Anaheim (the "Stadium") enjoyable. As part of that commitment, Angels' management recognizes that some individuals with mobility impairments are utilizing the Segway® Personal Transporter (the "Segway") and similar devices as their preferred means of locomotion. The Angels are committed to making all reasonable efforts to make the Stadium accessible to persons with disabilities. The Angels have established the following pilot policy to permit individuals with mobility impairment to use the Segway and similar devices in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), guidance issued by the United States Department of Justice (see www.ada.gov) and California State Law.

The following pilot policy is designed to facilitate the safe integration of the Segway into the Stadium during all baseball games, ballpark tours and any other Stadium events pursuant to the below conditions of use.

Only individuals with a mobility impairment are permitted to operate a Segway or other similar device in the Stadium.

For purposes of this pilot policy, an "individual with a mobility impairment" means any person who has any physical impairment or condition regardless of its cause, nature or extent that limits the person's functional ability to ambulate, climb, descend, sit, rise or to perform any related function.

Stadium personnel may ask an individual using a Segway if the device is required because of the individual's mobility disability and may ask to see some form of proof of disability (for example a valid, State-issued disability parking placard or card, or State-issued proof of disability). If an individual does not have such documents, a credible verbal assurance that the device is being used for a mobility disability is sufficient to grant entry, unless the person is observed doing something that contradicts the assurance or is found violating this policy. Other than a request for a credible verbal assurance or proof of disability, Stadium personnel may not ask the individual about the nature and extent of the individual's mobility disability.

For purposes of this pilot policy, a Segway is a two-wheeled, gyroscopically stabilized, battery-powered personal transportation device. This policy applies to Segways, and any similar device that is being used as a mobility aid by an individual with a mobility impairment.

To facilitate Segway users, the Angels encourage (but do not require) users to contact the Stadium in advance to coordinate entry, ticketing locations and access.

Segway users must enter through the Home Plate Gate, or a second entrance, designated by the Angels and announced at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start of each home game. Through the course of the pilot policy, the Angels will use each entrance to the Stadium at least once, in order to determine if any safety or logistical issues make a particular entrance unsuitable for Segway use in the future. The Angels will designate elevators for use by Segway users based on the dimensions of Stadium elevators and feasibility of safe use by Segway operators. It is intended that Segway users will be given access to as many Stadium elevators as practicable. This policy does not permit the use of any Stadium escalators by Segway users.

The Segway must at all times be operated in a manner that does not compromise the safety of the user, the other patrons, the staff or the building infrastructure. While in operation, Segway users must remain in control of their Segway at all times and must exercise caution when turning corners, and entering restrooms, stores, concession areas or any other enclosed areas. Segway users must operate their Segway at a speed no greater than pedestrian traffic, and must observe and obey all reasonable safety instructions from Stadium personnel. Segway users must yield to pedestrian traffic as necessary to ensure safety. In the event an individual's use* of the Segway creates an unsafe or hazardous condition, an individual Segway user violates these rules, or violates the Stadium rules outlined in the Angels' "A to Z Guide," the Angels reserve the right to take steps to mitigate the condition, including immediate ejection of the Segway user from the Stadium.

The Angels recommend that Segway users purchase tickets in one of the Stadium's accessible seating areas. Segway users may purchase tickets for up to 3 additional companion seats as outlined in the "Accessible Seating" for Guests with Disabilities section of the Angels' "A to Z Guide," including in the same seating locations as the wheelchair accessible seats. If more than one Segway guest will be in attendance together at a particular game, the Angels, at their sole discretion, may relocate users to the same section (Angels will provide comparable or better seats but may move guests from the first base side to the third base side of the Stadium, or vice versa).

Segways must be locked, or otherwise functionally disabled (e.g., by removing the keys), prior to parking or storage, and stored upright in secure locations and out of the way of other guests and Stadium personnel. The Angels will make every effort to allow the Segway to be parked in close proximity to the user's accessible seat when conditions allow. If public safety requires, (e.g., impeding pedestrian traffic), or a non-accessible seat is purchased, the Angels may require that a Segway be parked away from the user's seat and a Guest Services Representative or Usher will locate a suitable location or escort the user to the nearest Guest Services Center. In the event that the Angels request that the Segway be parked away from the user's seat, the Angels will provide the user with a conventional wheelchair.

During games or events with high attendance (e.g., over 38,500 tickets sold for a baseball game or a non-baseball event with attendance over 85% of the Stadium's capacity), to the extent necessary for the safety of all guests, a Segway may be restricted to certain designated access points and areas. In such instances, Stadium personnel will designate areas that allow the Segway user to reach his or her accessible seats, designated restrooms, at least one team store (if the team stores are open for sales), at least one concession area (if the concession areas are open for service) and a Stadium entrance/exit. The Angels will consider the convenience of the Segway user an important factor in designating these areas. During events with high attendance, the Angels recommend that Segway users request a Guest Services Representative or Usher escort them from entry to their seat, or to the exit from their seat.

To facilitate the Angels' review and assessment of the pilot policy, Segway users may voluntarily register with the Angels Guest Relations 24 hours prior to use inside of the Stadium, including providing the devices model type, size, maximum speed, weight, control mechanism, and shut-off device. Users who do not provide 24 hour advance notice will be allowed entry, but may experience delays in locating suitable seats and/or coordinating entry into the Stadium for games.

This pilot policy will begin on September 19, 2014, and continue through the Angels 2015 baseball season, including any postseason play.

    * If the Angels receive credible complaints about a specific Segway user and that user wishes to continue using the Segway, the Angels may request a demonstration of responsible use and adequate control of the device.
