CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox announced today the club will host Chicago White Sox Charities Week from August 4-8. The inaugural fundraising campaign will engage both fans attending games during the designated homestand, along with those who choose to watch from home.

The week will culminate with a specially televised in-game online auction featuring premium prizes including White Sox memorabilia and VIP experiences. The schedule for the week is as follows:

Tuesday, August 4, 7:11 p.m. – White Sox vs. Angels
Jerseys Off Our Backs Auction – Fans at the game can bid on jerseys worn by select players in that evening's White Sox starting lineup vs. the Angels, with winning bids receiving the jerseys the players wore that same night. Bids can be placed in the left field concourse of the 100-level at U.S. Cellular Field.

Wednesday, August 5, 7:11 p.m. – White Sox vs. Angels
ACE Team Sox Tags Sale – Members of the White Sox Amateur City Elite (ACE) high school travel team will partner with Sox Split raffle ticket sellers in promoting the sale of special Sox Tags. These one-of-a-kind necklaces carry a 1.5 inch tall Sox logo on a 24-inch adjustable chain.

Thursday, August 6, 1:05 p.m. – White Sox vs. Angels
Collectible Ball Sale – Game-used baseballs from past games and seasons will be available for purchase on the 100 and 500-level concourses.

Friday, August 7, 7:11 p.m. – White Sox vs. Indians
Wives Brown Bag Sale – Wives of White Sox players will be on the 100 and 500-levels selling "mystery brown bags" with autographed baseballs inside. While each bag contains an autographed baseball, fans will not know who signed the ball until they purchase a bag. Baseballs included in the sale will be signed by current member of the White Sox and White Sox legends, such as Hall of Famers Carlton Fisk and Luis Aparicio.

Saturday, August 8, 6:05 p.m. – White Sox vs. Indians
The Ultimate Auction – Seven unique premium auction items will be featured during WGN-TV's television broadcast of that evening's game. Viewers will be able to bid on the items throughout the game at whitesox.com/ultimatebid. Some of the items available include: a Suite Home Chicago Package, which includes a suite to a White Sox, Blackhawks and Bulls game or a broadcast experience for four, which includes dinner with Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone.

Proceeds from each night's fundraisers benefit White Sox Charities, which provides annual financial, in-kind and emotional support to hundreds of Chicago-based organizations, including those leading the fight against cancer or dedicated to improving the lives of Chicago's youth through education and athletics. This year, the organization has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants and other monetary donations. This year's contributions move the team's non-profit arm near $15 million in cumulative giving since its inception.
