You've seen hot dog-eating competitions before, but probably not one like this.
For the month of July, U.S. Cellular Field is selling the "Giant Slugger" Hot Dog -- a two-foot, one-pound frank layered with fried onions, jalapenos, chili and nacho cheese in a 22-inch potato bun. Slogan: "Eat at Your Own Risk."
To introduce the monstrosity to South Side fans, a contest was held on Wednesday. Whoever could crush an entire Giant Slugger in the shortest amount of time would win four suite tickets, an autographed ball and a customized jersey.
Kevin from Tinley Park, Ill., walked away the winner, housing the dog in just over eight minutes.
