GROUP LEADER INFORMATION

Group Sales Contact Information

What is the minimum number of tickets required for a group purchase?

The minimum requirement to book a group is 20 tickets.

What are the benefits of bringing a group to the ballpark?

Groups (general seating with 20 or more tickets) receive a discount on most games (excluding Opening Day and Sox/Cubs). All groups are welcomed on the side message board during the game and avoid per ticket fees. Also, the group leader receives a gift!

When does my group scoreboard message appear?

All groups are welcomed on the matrix board in left field, between the 2nd and 3rd inning. The message can be no more than 30 characters and must be submitted to your account representative no later than 3 days before the homestand.

Special Scoreboard Messages?

Fans can create their own special message to be displayed on the center field video screen at U.S. Cellular Field during any White Sox home game. The requests can be made in advance at www.whitesox.com for a $55 donation to Chicago White Sox Charities.

What time can I get into the ballpark?

The U.S. Cellular Field gates open 90 minutes prior to game time, unless otherwise noted.

Are there locations where my group can tailgate?

Tailgating is allowed and encouraged in White Sox parking lots A-G and L before every home game until game time (tailgating is not allowed after the game). Parking lots open two hours prior to game time. Please use personal-size grills and bring one gallon of water to extinguish the coals. In order to maintain a family atmosphere, kegs are not permitted in the lots. Tailgating is not permitted in any of the auxiliary lots.

What other pre-game options are available to groups?

We have several locations at U.S. Cellular Field where you can hold a pre-game party for 90 minutes prior to the game. Or, stop by and visit Bacardi at the Park, located directly across the street from the ballpark on 35th St.

What age do children require a ticket for admission into the park?

Children shorter than the turnstile arm (approximately 36 inches) are admitted free of charge, but must share a seat with an accompanying adult. Children taller than the turnstile are required to have a regular-price game ticket.

When is my final payment due and when will I receive my group tickets?

All orders must be accompanied by a minimum, non-refundable 30% deposit. Payment is due in full 45 days prior to the game date.

May I add tickets to my original group order and what is the process in adding them?

For general groups and pre-game events, you may add tickets based on availability while adhering to the deposit policy. You can add tickets to your group order by calling the Group Sales Office at 312-674-1000 and referencing your account number.

Can I return group tickets if I purchased too many?

Once group tickets are paid for in full there are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

Where is the best place to park my car, RV, or bus?

Parking is available in any White Sox sanctioned lot for cars, minivans, motorcycles and other vehicles that require one parking space. Buses must park in Lot A. Passes can be purchased by contacting your sales rep at 312-674-1000 and must be purchased at least 14 business days before your game. The cost of parking passes is as follows:

Car parking passes are available for $20 Monday - Saturday and only $10 on Sundays!

Bus parking passes are available for $37 Monday - Friday and $35 on Saturday - Sunday, when purchased in advance. If you purchase your busparking pass on the day of the game, it will cost $42 Monday - Friday and $40 Saturday - Sunday.
