Registration for the postseason ticket opportunities began at noon Central Time (CT) Tuesday, September 9, 2008 and the World Series ("WS") registration will close at noon CT, Thursday, October 9, 2008. The White Sox will conduct a random selection of winners from the pool of registrants for each of the three postseason series. The World Series winners will have the opportunity to purchase up to six (6) tickets per winner to the 2008 World Series which may be played at US Cellular Field, Chicago, IL. The White Sox will make winners aware of the exact number of tickets the winner has the opportunity to purchase. Exact date, times and instructions for ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. If a selected applicant does not follow these instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. There is no obligation to buy a ticket. There is no assurance that any particular registrant will be selected. Winners may not transfer this purchase opportunity.
Winners for World Series ("WS") drawings will be selected from the same pool registrants at later dates and notified via e-mail with instructions on the ticket purchase process including dates and times for these sales.
Registrants (including winners of previous drawings) will be eligible for each drawing. You may not use any tickets purchased in connection with the drawings for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Registrations have no cash redemptions or substitutions.
In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. In addition, you must complete and submit the entry form located above during the Registration Period. Limit one entry per person. In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered. Only entries submitted to the White Sox during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid.
A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase up to six (6) tickets per winner to the 2008 World Series at US Cellular Field ("WS") will be held on or about Friday, October 10, 2008. The White Sox will make winners aware of the exact number of tickets the winner has the opportunity to purchase. Each applicant selected will be notified by Wednesday, October 15, 2008 via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form. Those applicants whose names are selected shall have an opportunity to purchase World Series tickets at a date and time to be indicated in the e-mail. In the event that the winner does not respond to such notification by purchasing 2008 World Series tickets in the timeframe indicated, a disqualification will result. Please be sure to provide us with an accurate e-mail address. Neither MLB Advanced Media, L.P. or the White Sox are responsible for any e-mail notifications that are bounced back or misdirected.

NOTE: MLB game dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the Chicago White Sox, as applicable, and may be subject to change. All tickets purchased in connection with the drawing shall be subject to those policies applicable to White Sox ticket holders generally; as such the White Sox from time to time in their sole discretion may amend policies. White Sox Non-Played Game Postseason Ticket Return Policy: PLEASE NOTE: TICKETS RELATED TO POSTSEASON GAMES NOT PLAYED HAVE NO CASH VALUE. Reimbursement for any postseason games not played will be made directly to the account holder of record. Once tickets are purchased, there are no refunds or exchanges. All refunds for any postseason games and parking (not played) will be processed automatically, approximately three weeks after the last White Sox game. Refunds will be given via your method of payment (cash/check accounts will receive a check and credit card accounts will receive a credit on your credit card). The processing fee is not refundable whether or not a postseason game is played, and whether or not tickets are or are not mailed, or picked up in person. You may not use any tickets purchased in connection with the drawing for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Registrations have no cash redemptions or substitutions.
WARNING: Tickets for 2008 Postseason Games played at US Cellular Field are being distributed for you or your organization's personal use. Tickets are not to be resold for a premium in excess of any amount allowed by federal, state or local law. Persons who sell or offer tickets for sale on game premises will be removed from the premises and prosecuted.
