Crede not worried about defense

White Sox third baseman Joe Crede has made seven errors this season, high for the usually flawless fielder. He says he's not worried about his defense, he's just focusing on trying to get better.

Jose Contreras

Contreras is looking like his old self -- pre-2007, when he was 10-17. The right-hander evened his record Friday in an outstanding effort against Seattle. He allowed just one run on six hits in a 4-2 victory. He threw strikes, got ahead of hitters, and pitched to contact -- with his defense playing well behind him. Contreras is 4-3 with a 3.63 ERA in his career against the Angels.
