DelawareNorth Sportservice, located at Guaranteed Rate Field, has some fun, part-time, seasonal jobs available. All jobs require evening and weekend availability. We are particularly looking for SEAT VENDORS, who walk the stadium selling beverages and snacks. Vending is one of baseball's greatest traditions and is a great way to experience the excitement of every game.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities needed to be a Seat Vendor are:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to sell food products
  • Availability to work 25 games throughout the baseball season, including nights and weekend and holidays
  • Self-motivated with a high level of self-confidence to aggressively sell assigned items
  • Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell product for entire length of shift
  • Superb customer service skills with a friendly, pleasant demeanor, as well as strong communication skills to communicate with guests
  • Basic math skills, so you can accurately account for cash and inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dependable and punctual
  • Frequent walking throughout venue for entire length of shift
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for entire length of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs to 50 lbs

Senior Graphic Designer

Reports to: Manager of Design

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design digital, multimedia and interactive creative
  • Design publications, marketing, sales, sponsorship and community relations materials
  • Develop and design digital display ads, social graphics, micro-sites, e-newsletters and e-mails
  • Assist with consistent presentation of the White Sox visual brand
  • Create high quality designs under tight deadlines while managing multiple
  • job requests and revisions
  • Work with purchasing department to keep design projects within the budget allocated
  • General administrative tasks

Skill Requirements:

  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design
  • 3-5 Years of Professional Design Experience
  • Solid print and typographic skills
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communications skills
  • Ability to design and multi-task within a team environment
  • Design expertise to take a project from concept to completion
  • Up-to-date understanding of social media platforms
  • Interest in and understanding of Chicago White Sox baseball

Technical Requirements:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Video Editing Technologies (Final Cut/Premiere) are a plus
  • HTML, HTML5, XHTML and CSS are a plus
  • Microsoft Office

The Senior Graphic Designer position is a mid-level position; the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of full-time design experience. Portfolio review required during interview process.

Mailroom Administrator

Reports to: Manager, Central Support Services


  • Collect mail from the local Post Office
  • Receive, sort, and deliver all incoming/outgoing mail & packages from USPS, UPS, FedEx and other couriers
  • Log outgoing and incoming items as required into the Chicago White Sox tracking system
  • Create a monthly inbound package system report for Major League Baseball
  • Distribute mail to employees, clubhouse and other organizations inside Guaranteed Rate Field
  • Collect and process mail from various departments throughout Guaranteed Rate Field multiple times daily
  • Wrap, seal, weigh, affix postage and dispatch all outgoing mail/packages in accordance with postal regulations
  • Provide minor maintenance of office equipment; such as solving paper jams, placing service calls and routine cleanings
  • Monitor inventory of all supplies in mail area, stock paper and toner and keep supply area neat
  • Process purchase requisitions for various departments
  • Maintain relationships with various vendors; UPS, FedEx, Office Supply Vendors, Office Equipment Vendors, etc.
  • Deliver mail as needed to outside partners through the use of a company vehicle
  • Coordinate interdepartmentally on various projects within the organization


  • Experience running mail posting equipment a plus
  • Copier/fax/FedEx/postage machine knowledge
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a team-oriented work style
  • Ability to effectively handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Valid Driver's License; excellent driving record
  • Knowledge of Chicago White Sox organization and baseball a plus
