DelawareNorth Sportservice, located at Guaranteed Rate Field, has some fun, part-time, seasonal jobs available. All jobs require evening and weekend availability. We are particularly looking for SEAT VENDORS, who walk the stadium selling beverages and snacks. Vending is one of baseball's greatest traditions and is a great way to experience the excitement of every game.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities needed to be a Seat Vendor are:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to sell food products
  • Availability to work 25 games throughout the baseball season, including nights and weekend and holidays
  • Self-motivated with a high level of self-confidence to aggressively sell assigned items
  • Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell product for entire length of shift
  • Superb customer service skills with a friendly, pleasant demeanor, as well as strong communication skills to communicate with guests
  • Basic math skills, so you can accurately account for cash and inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dependable and punctual
  • Frequent walking throughout venue for entire length of shift
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for entire length of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs to 50 lbs

Ticket Sales Coordinator


Reports to: Sr. Manager of Ticket Sales & Client Services


Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Ticket Sales & Client Services the Ticket Sales Coordinator provides general administrative support for the Ticket Sales department. Primary functions focus on supporting the Ticket Sales management group. Day-to-day responsibilities include: assistance with ticket sales reporting, revenue targets, and customer development including, customer retention and new sales initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support as directed by the Sr. Manager of Ticket Sales and Client Services and other sales managers.
  • Actively assist in training and educating of ticket sales staff.
  • Create and distribute party area reporting for the White Sox front office, Levy, DNC, Standard Parking, and Baseball Buffet.
  • Assist in the updating and creation of all ticket sales materials (including info sheets, sales brochures, and digital brochures).
  • Organize and execute all Season Ticket Holder Special Events.
  • Act as a liaison between Ticket Sales and all other Front Office departments regarding complimentary and purchased Diamond Suites and Party Areas.
  • Assist in the sales of all large groups (500 or more) and filling individual group orders (flyers and coupons).
  • Oversee all non-ticket inventories sold by the department including but not limited to, scoreboard messages, on-field pre-game events, and early batting practice.
  • Support and execute all client service and group sales strategies in an effort to deliver a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer service and group sales through Microsoft CRM, Cognos, and/or other means available.
  • Analyze and assess activity to build and enhanced relationships with our clients in an effort to better serve their needs.
  • Oversee internal projects to ensure they are completed efficiently while being fairly distributed within the department.
  • Game Duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • College Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years administrative support experience in a sales related capacity; some direct sales experience a plus
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with CRM platform a plus
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (based on team's home baseball schedule)
