DelawareNorth Sportservice, located at Guaranteed Rate Field, has some fun, part-time, seasonal jobs available. All jobs require evening and weekend availability. We are particularly looking for SEAT VENDORS, who walk the stadium selling beverages and snacks. Vending is one of baseball's greatest traditions and is a great way to experience the excitement of every game.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities needed to be a Seat Vendor are:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to sell food products
  • Availability to work 25 games throughout the baseball season, including nights and weekend and holidays
  • Self-motivated with a high level of self-confidence to aggressively sell assigned items
  • Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell product for entire length of shift
  • Superb customer service skills with a friendly, pleasant demeanor, as well as strong communication skills to communicate with guests
  • Basic math skills, so you can accurately account for cash and inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dependable and punctual
  • Frequent walking throughout venue for entire length of shift
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for entire length of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs to 50 lbs

Motivated guest service personnel needed in the following positions:

  • Guest Service Representative - Greeter, Ticket-scanner, Usher
  • Team Leaders - Experience supervising 10+ subordinates required
  • Event Security Representative - Active or retired law enforcement certification required
  • Security Crowd Managers - Criminal justice studies preferred
  • Guest Relations Representatives - Dedicated guest service booth representatives, complaint resolution

Coordinator of Community Relations

Reports to: Senior Manager of Community Relations and VP Community Relations


  • Serve as day-to-day point person for White Sox Charities grant recipients
  • Facilitate White Sox Charities grant application process including LOI application and grant process
  • White Sox Charities donor relations including keeping current donor records, tax deductible letters, etc.
  • Process incoming donations to White Sox Charities
  • Track and fulfill in-kind donation experiences for White Sox games
  • Assist in the overall coordination of player travel and accommodations for SoxFest (teams annual fan convention)
  • Coordinate White Sox support of non-profit events and galas
  • Serve as secondary contact to player families and White Sox team members.
  • Work with community partners to arrange outreach programs in conjunction with overall Community Relations efforts (example: player directed programs)
  • Provide administrative support to Vice President of Community Relations
  • Assist with all Chicago White Sox Charities fundraising events and Community Relations programs, including idea generation and implementation


  • College Degree; concentration in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • MUST be fluent in Spanish - both spoken and written. Must be comfortable conducting business in Spanish
  • Exceptional writing and proofreading skills (both English and Spanish)
  • Ability to collaborate on projects with a variety of internal departments and external partners
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee the development and execution of a wide variety of projects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience in Community Relations, fundraising or development; sports-related experience a plus
  • The ability to work nights and/or weekends as dictated by the home baseball schedule and departmental events schedule
