KANSAS CITY -- The Royals' Miguel Olivo and the White Sox D.J. Carrasco and Ozzie Guillen were ejected in the fifth inning of Sunday's game following a bench-clearing fracas.

It started when Carrasco threw two straight pitches at Olivo. After the second one hit him, Olivo charged the mound. Catcher A.J. Pierzynski restrained Olivo before he reached Carrasco. Jose Guillen, who was on third base, ran over and grabbed Pierzynski.

Ozzie Guillen was ejected for arguing with the umpires following the altercation. Jose Guillen scored on the play because the bases were loaded.

Zack Greinke and Royals skipper Trey Hillman were ejected in the seventh after Greinke hit Nick Swisher with a pitch.
