CHICAGO -- Day 3 of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft brought a couple of familiar surnames to the White Sox organization.

Tyler Williams, son of White Sox general manager Kenny Williams, was selected in the 43rd round and 1,303rd overall on Thursday. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound third baseman recently graduated from Chaparral High School in Arizona. Tyler's older brother, Kenny Jr., was taken in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft and plays for Class A Kannapolis.

In the 45th round, the White Sox picked Harold Baines Jr., son of White Sox first-base coach Harold Baines. Baines Jr. was taken 1,363rd overall. He is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound left fielder out of McDaniel College.

Baines played parts of 14 seasons with the White Sox during his 22-year career. He finished his career with 2,866 hits, 1,628 RBIs and 384 home runs.
