Jim Sundberg was huge for the 1985 championship Royals, as they took their second AL pennant against the Blue Jays. Sundbergs's four-RBI night paired with an early homer by Pat Sheridan powered the Boys in to their second pennant.
After dropping his previous game, 24-year-old Roger Clemens was searching for postseason redemption. The first-time All-Star got it in a decisive win. Clemens hurled a gem through seven innings, allowing just one run and four hits.

Aaron Boone's walk-off homer against Tim Wakefield to lead off the 11th inning instantly etched his name in Yankees lore and extended the Curse of the Bambino for another year.
