  • ESPN The Magazine tabs D-Backs as 9th-best franchise among all sports

    The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have been ranked ninth-best among 122 franchises across all four major sports and No. 2 franchise in Major League Baseball in ESPN the Magazine's Ultimate Standings issue currently available on newsstands. This marks the second time in the last three years that the D-backs have been ranked amongst the top 10 in all of sports. The franchise was also ranked No. 1 amongst all Phoenix-based sports franchises.

  • D-backs and APS to complete funding for Kayla Mueller Playground in Prescott

    The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks, @LosDbacks) and Arizona Public Service (@apsFYI) jointly announced they have made significant contributions to complete funding for the "Kayla's Hands" playground in Prescott, Ariz., which will be built in memory of Kayla Mueller, the human rights activist who passed away earlier this year while being held captive by the Islamic State in Syria.

    The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks @LosDbacks) announced the creation of the Luis Gonzalez Award, which will be given annually to the D-backs player who best exemplifies the talents, spirit and heart of the D-backs legend both on and off the field, as voted by his teammates and coaches.

    The Arizona Diamondbacks and University of Phoenix will join together for an evening focused on education during the D-backs home game against the Houston Astros on Friday, Oct. 2 at Chase Field.

  • D-backs to host Science of Baseball and Stem Showcase this Friday

    The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) will welcome more than 4,000 Arizona students and their families this Friday, Oct. 2 for the game against the Houston Astros as part of the second annual D-backs Science of Baseball STEM Showcase, presented by Chase and Insight. The entire main concourse and upper level at Chase Field will be filled with Arizona youth who are learning more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through a unique program that will be highlighted throughout the ballpark.

    The Arizona Diamondbacks named outfielder Socrates Brito and right-handed pitcher Aaron Blair the organization's Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year, as announced by D-backs Director, Player Development Mike Bell.

    The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) and D-backs partners will offer special giveaways and promotions throughout the game this Sunday as part of Fan Appreciation Day. During the D-backs’ final game of the 2015 season, the D-backs Team Shop will also provide discounts on select items storewide.
