CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox open their 11th season of Cactus League play in Tucson, Arizona on February 27 against the Colorado Rockies at Tucson Electric Park (TEP).

The White Sox play 31 spring games (15 at home and 16 on the road), but just nine are in the Phoenix area. Ten of the Sox first 13 games are in Tucson, while four of their final eight will be played in the Phoenix area, including a three-day trip from March 20-22 which features a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Phoenix.

The White Sox feature two split squad contests: March 2 vs. Arizona/at Arizona in Hermosillo, Mexico and March 7 vs. Arizona/at the Los Angeles Angels. The White Sox face the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, March 15 in Tucson and again at Mesa's HoHoKam Park on Saturday, March 22.

All Sox home games at TEP are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. MT, except for a 12:05 p.m. start on March 27 vs. Arizona to conclude the Cactus League slate.

The White Sox went 10-22-2 in Cactus League play in 2007 and drew 86,432 fans in 15 home dates, an average of 5,762. The Sox are 142-163-11 all-time in Tucson.

An on-sale date for White Sox spring training games at TEP will be announced at a later time.
