CHICAGO -- Prior to tonight's game at Tampa Bay, the Chicago White Sox returned Danny Richar from an injury rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte, reinstated the infielder from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Charlotte.

Richar, 24, was placed on the disabled list on March 29 (retro to March 22) with a fractured left rib. He batted .185 (5-27) with one home run, two RBI and five walks in seven games on his rehab assignment with the Knights. Richar hit his first homer last night in a 6-3 loss at Rochester.
