CHICAGO -- The final television installment of this season's Chicago White Sox advertising campaign "Share the Passion. Show the Swagger," titled "A.J.'s Bunt," features a game situation where Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski receives messages from third base coach Jeff Cox, manager Ozzie Guillen and the Mayor of the City of Chicago, Richard M. Daley.
The new spot builds upon the overall campaign message that plays off fan interaction with White Sox team members, and embraces the distinct personalities of players, coaches and the manager.
"Our advertising campaign this season was about open, fun communication with our fans," said Brooks Boyer, White Sox vice president and chief marketing officer. "There is no bigger Sox fan in the city than Mayor Daley and this television spot certainly demonstrates the kind of pull he has around the ballpark."
The latest spot was produced by Energy BBDO (Chicago), as were all of this season's advertising campaign elements - print, radio and television.
