The Chicago White Sox will open a new bar and restaurant at Gate 5 of U.S. Cellular Field. Set to open to the public the day of the White Sox home opener, Thursday, April 7, the new bar and restaurant offers fans another venue to meet before, after or during White Sox games.

BACARDI is the title sponsor of the new project and the name of the bar and restaurant is "Bacardi at the Park." As part of the sponsorship, Bacardi will have branding throughout the interior and exterior of the facility. The sponsorship also includes hospitality, branding to promote Bacardi at the Park on a field-level sign and in-park advertising, White Sox-placed media advertising to promote Bacardi at the Park, pre- and post-game remotes inside the bar throughout the season, behind-the-scenes game-day experiences for BACARDI and White Sox logo rights.

Bacardi at the Park, operated by the Gibsons Restaurant Group, has a menu that features USDA Gibsons prime angus beef hamburgers, hand cut French fries, and in-house smoked barbecue baby back ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket. The spacious restaurant can accommodate up to 350 people and has nearly 70 flat screens televisions to accompany a state-of-the-art sound system so fans don't miss a single pitch. It opens 2.5 hours before all home games and remains open through the game until two hours after the last out. Fans do not need a game ticket to visit Bacardi at the Park.

"What we have heard from fans through the years is they would like more places to go before and after White Sox games, and with Bacardi at the Park, we are offering yet another option," said Brooks Boyer, White Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing. "We are thrilled to have BACARDI as a sponsor in this new and exciting venture, and along with Gibsons, we have all built a vibrant atmosphere that fans can enjoy for years to come."

"BACARDI is excited to join with the Chicago White Sox and Gibsons Restaurant Group to bring this fantastic new cocktail and dining destination to U.S. Cellular Field," said Dave Lang, vice president, managing director, Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. "Combining our legendary rum brand with this legendary sports franchise is a natural fit and we look forward to Bacardi at the Park becoming a gathering place where fans can come together to celebrate their love of the game with the very best BACARDI cocktails."
