WHAT:
An all day celebration of kickball at Progressive Field to raise money for childhood and young adult cancer research. Throughout the day teams of students from schools across Northeast Ohio that together raised over $100,000 will play kickball. Corporate teams will also compete in a kickball tournament in the afternoon to claim in a tournament for the "Best Kickball Team in Cleveland" trophy.

Presented by the Cleveland Indians, Kick-It is a grassroots program initiated by Flashes of Hope that raises money for children's cancer research by inspiring people across the country to play kickball. Just like a walk or 5k race, participants ask family and friends to sponsor them to play. Kick-It was founded in 2009 by a 10-year old with cancer from Northeast Ohio and has already raised nearly half a million dollars! Visit indians.com/kickit or kickit.org for more information.

*Indians Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Paul Dolan Quinn Clarke, Kick-It Founder and Allison Clarke Co-Founder are available for interviews.
