Having reclaimed a one-run lead in the top of eighth inning, reliever Cliff Politte gave it right back in the bottom half, surrendering Mike Sweeney's two-run homer. Javier Vazquez worked a very solid seven frames, picking up a no-decision in the club's fourth straight loss after its Opening Night win.
