Freddy Garcia worked eight innings of one-hit baseball for the second straight outing as the White Sox kept their flickering playoff hopes alive. A.J. Pierzynski belted a grand slam while Jermaine Dye and Jim Thome hit back-to-back homers and Tadahito Iguchi added another homer.
