PLAYING CAREER: Pitched in the White Sox organization from 1987-91, posting a 34-30 record with a 3.51 ERA (219 ER/561.2 IP) and 12 complete games over 97 games (82 starts)...Registered career bests with 26 starts, 185.2 IP and six complete games with Class A South Bend in 1988 … went 14-8 with a 3.39 ERA (62 ER/164.2 IP) and four complete games (three shutouts) over 25 starts with Class A Sarasota in 1989...Was selected by the Sox in the 21st round of the 1987 draft.

MISCELLANEOUS/PERSONAL: Married Mary … has two children: Andrew and Alyssa … his son, Drew, owns a 2.50 ERA (28 ER/100.2 IP) over two seasons in the White Sox minor-league system...Graduated in 1983 from Roanoke-Benson (Ill.)
