To help kids get the best start in life, Jays Care supports charity and community groups across Ontario that offer programs focusing on getting active, excelling academically and leading healthy lives.
To date, Jays Care has invested close to $3.5 million into the community through the Grand Slam Grants program.
In 2013, Jays Care Foundation disbursed more than $450,000 in Grand Slam Grants funding to 14 charitable and community groups across Canada that are impacting over 4,000 children and youth.
These organizations include:
Easter Seals Ontario, Max & Beatrice Centre - Camp Erin, McMaster Athletes Care, Moorelands Community Services, Precious Minds Support Services, Right to Play Canada, ROCK (Reach Out Centre for Kids), Success Beyond Limits, Sudbury Manitoulin Children's Foundation, Tides Canada Initiatives - East Scarborough Storefront, Toronto Foundation for Student Success - beyond 3:30, Trails Youth Initiatives, Variety Village and Youth Assisting Youth.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The following categories of requests will not be considered for Grand Slam Grants funding:
